advice on caring for a sick looking rosemary plant

hello would like some advice about a rosemary plant that i have planted in my garden,it has been there for a number of years in the some spot and had grown quite lg, have had no problems until this year when it had i think its called spittle bugs on it,it now im sad to say looks like it is dieing it has gone in parts dried up and brown and it seems to be spreading all over and the leaves falling off,what is it and can i do anything to save it all just cut it down and dig up,any help please thank you

Sounds like it might have a virus. Might be worth a shot at taking a few cuttings, otherwise, cut it right back in the winter & hope it re grows from the base.

Where abouts are you, could it have been sitting in frozen soil last winter?
