A small pest has infested my fittonia!

I purchased my fittonia several months ago, and I’m quite new to caring for houseplants. Thus far, I have only had any issues with some fungus gnats. I left the soil dry for a prolonged period of time and they seemed to disappear. However, I watered it for the first time in weeks and came to discover a day later...

the soil and pot are infested with these small insects! Could somebody help me identify what they are, and how to get rid of them? I can't have them spreading to my other plants, which are suffering from some pesky insects already!

Looks like Root Aphids. Drench the soil with a spinosad based insecticide.
