Here is a picture I took a couple of days ago. It's of one of my sun flowers I was more interested in taking a good shot of the bee tho. I think I did a good job, what do you think?
I love the picture! It's so pretty and it looks so cheerful. Also, it's so nice to see the bee I miss bees, I haven't seen any in a long time.
That's a terrific shot - I love it. Last year I took three really good pictures of flowers in our garden, printed off enlarged images, and put them in some frames I had lying around. They made lovely picture - that sunflower picture of yours would be just gorgeous enlarged and mounted!
Great shot, Trellum. I love taking photos of bees and certain insects. I find this year, the bees are quite content with me hanging around with my camera. The sunflower is also gorgeous
Trellum that is an awesome shot. The bee does look quite happy! I think that sunflower is very pretty. I agree with TheCrazyPlantLady about enlarging it and putting it in a frame. Would make a great piece of art!
That's a fantastic shot!
I think if it is the shot that brought you together I think you pretty much have to frame it! CongratulationsThanks You really think so? I hadn't thought of enlarging this picture (and put it in a frame) before, but I'm starting to think this could be a great idea I think I could even give this as a gift to my boyfriend... so we can hang it on the wall of our new house You know... like some kind of memento marking that huge step in our lives He loves sun flowers, by the way
I hope you can share some of those shots with us
It's an aster - I'm not sure exactly what sort as it is our next door neigbour's. She gave me a root cutting last fall, and mine is just starting to bloom now, but it's no where as tall as hers yet. Maybe next year. I've got a purple one, a pink one and an white one, and I just can't wait for them to start blooming!Wow! Just look at that!!! That bee is huuuuge Lovely I see why you decided to enlarge this and put it in a frame The flowers are beautiful as well! Purple is my favorite color What's the name of this plant? I've seen flowers like that before, but I don't know the name. They're lovely anyway I love taking photos of flowers as well, it's a great hobby... I'm just waiting to buy a new camera.
Thanks for sharing this amazing shot with us!

I really like having personal art - about 80% of the art that's on our walls is made by someone in our family, or is connected with somewhere we've lived. What could be better than a beautiful piece of art that started the beginning of a lasting relationship?
I think that the new camera is a good idea - you obviously have an eye for a good shot!

The bees here are huge. There are a couple of different varieties, and my favourite are sort of a black and off-white type, that are like big bumbling teddy bears. They grumble when I deadhead the plants they are visiting, but they never get aggressive, we just work around each other.
Oooops, I just saw this message! I actually didn't met my actual boyfriend that way, I met my ex that way... but let's not tell him ok? LOL!
This is a trend I'd really love to follow If we want to have some art around the house... what could be better than having personal art hanging on our walls? I bet nothing can beat that! I'm sure your house must look splending with all that art hanging on the walls! I'm pisces and I've a taste for beautiful things I just wish I could paint I looove artistic stuff!!! I feel like I need something like that in my life, you know?
You're very kind to the point I feel flattered by your words! I just try to snap the best shots I can Hopely soon I'll get a nicer camera and will be getting into this again
