Those are all great ideas. I would love to build a little hut in my yard that could be used for lounging on a warm summer night. The clothes line tent idea seems very doable as well. People come up with some of the best ideas. I have to snag ideas from others because I am not very creative when it comes to stuff like that.

I am glad you found this post useful :) I also lack the creativity for this kind of ideas to be honest, I seem to be very creative in other areas, but not really when it comes to this kind of things. I guess that is because I really don't have that much experience with DIY projects of this magnitude. I think deep down most of us find this kind of projects a bit intimating.

Saved and shared, some fun ideas there! I love the marbles in the fence. :)

That was also my favorite one of them all to be honest. I though it looked so cute and creative. I have a fence of both sides of my house in the Netherlands. I will talk about this idea with my fiance :p I hope he also agrees is a nice idea! I only hope the neighbor kids don't take the marbles, lol.

Some are really lovely and whimsical looking! In the dry weather condition, I can see setting out the make-ship tent (first photo), but with our wet weather, it would be impossible to have it.

I totally get you. I am so tired of this scorching weather, but then I remember the wet and windy weather in the Netherlands... lol. I don't think we can do most of those things over there. I told my fiance about the fence idea, he liked it, but I don't think we will be getting a wooden fence. Too bad, the marble idea sounded great :(
