Decided to make lunch from garden vegetables. Products available, potato, carrots, beets, beet tops, onion, cucumber, tomato. The beet tops were steamed, beet roots boiled, potatoes baked, Carrots steamed, cucumber raw in vinegar, onion raw in vinegar. Tomato was sliced. Garnish was butter and vinegar. A delicious meal. Simple to prepare probably an hour in time.

Protein content? My dad used to collect bodies as a Civil Air Patrol flyer in Alaska when I was a small child. Vegans would attempt to go forth into the wilderness andcommune with nature without bacon and starve themselves to death.

Meat has its place. If doing work. I ingest fermented soy beans daily , tempeh mostly and kefir, So protein is probably not an issue.

If you are a guy, you should cut out the soy beans. Use another bean. Not health for men.

I only eat FERMENTED soy. Usually in TEMPEH form. I agree not fermented soy may be unhealthy for some.
