Eight pepper plants were placed in the outdoor garden. Four are hot chilli, and four are red bell sweet. I dry the hot types and make into a powder. The others are used typically. Some years they grow well. They like hot weather and mature in the Fall. Nothing attacks them in the garden.

Where I live, peppers, both hot and sweet, need to be under cover to give a good harvest.
I have approx. 20 plants, 10 sweet, 10 hot (from very mild large poblana ancho, for rellenos, to medium Joe's long, for general purpose, via jalapenos, for nachos and pizzas.

We get peppers red, yellow, orange and green from South America all year around in the Supermarkets. The peppers are huge and absolutely perfect. I have a hard time emulating them in my garden. They do like heat and Sun.

Your plants look so healthy!
I love peppers. Sweet, red peppers are my current favorite snack, I honestly think that they're more delicious than chocolate:D
