Placed about 40 cloves in the garlic bed. The bed was previouly prepared with the covered board dirrectly on top of the soil to retain moisture and keep the bed soft for planting. The soil is close to the clove and means a good growing start. Mulch is placed over the cloves. Garlic has no diffculty pushngg through the mulch.

Which types and cultivars of Garlic (Allium sativum) do you grow?

I grow hard neck from my own crop. Name is confusing because I mix and match. Magic is one. I buy the best at garlic shows and add to my collection. My garlic is always top quality. It grows well in my garden.
