Tomatoes are starting to produce. Ten pounds were picked and processed into six liters of pressure canned juice. The whole tomato was used, only about one liter of water was added to facilitate cooking.The cooked tomatoes were made into a slurry, strained through a 2 mm mesh screen, poured into six 1 liter jars and pressure canned at 15 PSI for 15 minutes for long term storage at room temperature.
