Here are the potatoes right now. How close are they to harvest you think? They've been in the ground since May. But the heatwave has yellowed them a bit more than I'd like.

for this batch I didn't bother cutting up the seed potatoes into different segments each with however many eyes, I just planted them full (I didn't have room to grow more plants). Will this cause multiple different competing plants from one seed potato, or are they all part of one plant?

The onion seed had already grown a small stem when I planted it. I planted it so that the stem was just poking out of the ground (so yes probably too deep).

I read online that it's when they're "full" but tbh idk what that really means. I'm currently letting them grow to see when they max out, but idk if there are any other tell-tale signs of them being ready? Here's a pic: I ate one when it was not fully grown yet and it was still good.
