I've moved the wisteria and put a little root grow down first. I just hope it survives!! I've given it lots of water and will look for new growth to fertilize. I will snap a pic and post soon

Thanks Sheal. I am currently growing 2 climbers, so that's a good idea for when they grow taller and spread abit more!

Good advice, I will do this later today. I have to say, I don't know how to prune. I don't prune any of my shrubs. To prune in the right place, right angle, right time of year. Clueless. I will give it a good go though.

Ok thanks. No Louis, I don't plant annual flowers. I love shrubs too much, especially evergreen ones.

    Wisteria floribunda

I've bought an artificial tree to replace my wisteria, which is going in the front garden. So should I remove all wilted leaves on wisteria or leave it be?

I have bought a large artificial tree, so thankyou for the great idea. I won't be putting anymore live trees in that planter. When I move my wisteria, do I remove all wilted leaves or leave them be?

Right... I could start watering it everyday, but at this point, I think it's better off in the ground. All my shrubs have thrived and several other trees but the planters are a problem. I need some screening for privacy.

Ha. Tell me about it! I might plant it in the ground in the front garden. Any trees I could plant in the planter as Abit of screening. I have alot of onlookers!

Thank you Zigs! Thanks for the compliment tetters but it's artificial and is pinned down to 1 inch of it's life!! ( I have 2 puppies(Chihuahuas) and they love to dig where ever they can get to. Maybe I will plant it in my front garden... So the planter is the issue. Any tall trees that will...

Right, I wasn't sure if the planter was the issue. I'm in Sheffield, so bits of rain now and again but mostly warm/hot/humid.

I have both front and back garden. Here is a pic of the back. I bought a new wisteria floribunda about 2 weeks ago and planted it in a large rectangle planter. It seemed fine, but one branch at a time, it's wilted. Now it's not looking so good. Any advice on this beautiful tree?

    Wisteria floribunda

Hi, I bought this tree about 2 weeks ago from my local garden centre. I planted it in a large rectangle planter. All seemed well, but one branch at a time started wilting. The body of the tree doesn't get much sun but the bush, gets sun all day. I have other trees in the same situation, that...
