which plants would be good campanion

Please can u guys help here are the heirloom seeds i have ordered online and i will be planting them in containers could i please guide me which plant should be companion eachother

Borage seeds
Alfa alfa seeds
Garlic chives
Noble giant spinach
Danvers carrot
Oak leaf lettuce
Bloomdale long standing spinach
Cherry tomatoes: intalian red cherry
Pennyroyal european
Chervil curled
Summer savoury
dill
cauliflower
cabbage
Sweet basil

I thought borage should be planted around to keep the pest insect away
but would love to know from all the experienced gardeners which plant should be companion and which should be kept far off
pls do suggest

Pennyroyal is also a good insect repellant.
Lettuces with tomatoes, also basil.
Brassicas together, in a deep pot, preferably more than 30cm, in order to avoid drying out.
Carrots with garlic chives; chives will confuse carrot fly carrots confuse onion fly.
Here, alfalfa are eaten as sprouts, and are gown on wet paper.
Don't know about borage.
