I grew both Black Krim and Old German last year (among others). Sort of low yield, but the tomatoes from both were huge and excellent slicing tomatoes. Unfortunately we had a very wet summer so I had some cracking and splitting from too much rain but as long as I harvested them promptly and cut off the bad bits they were great.

My preference is for the dark tomatoes. Paul Robeson is probably the best, but mine inadvertently got frozen so don't have many this year. Any extra are made into juice. I can handle probably up to about 500 pounds.

I like dark (and gold, and striped, and weird-looking tomatoes in general LOL.)
Had to look up Paul Robeson and this site calls it the "the finest tomato in existence." I may call around tomorrow to see if any local places have it in stock because now I really want to try it!
I've also grown Cherokee purple, Black Prince and Black Cherry. The pic shows some of my last year's crop, including Black Cherry.
I eat lots of them in season, give tons away, and freeze quite a bit.

http://www.durgan.org/URL/?XZHCV 16 September 2012 . 214 pounds of tomatoes picked 2,5,9,16 September
A total of 513 pounds of tomatoes was picked from about 32 plants over the season.Average 16 pounds per plant. There are probably another 100 or so pounds remaining if the weather holds with no frost. This is my best year ever for tomatoes.

I've never thought to weigh mine, now you've got me curious! I'm pretty sure I got at least 16 lbs from my various cherry tomatoes last year (Sweet 100s, Black Cherry, Yellow Pear) and maybe from my Romas and Mr Stripey. I keep trying various heirloom types every year and while I adore them, the yield tends to be lower. I probably should put more effort into catering to individual plant's needs but I am very busy with work in summer and get lax with fertilizing and pruning and weeding as the growing season progresses.
I did just put in a pineapple tomato plant; never heard of it before this year.

I attempt to utilize all that I grow. Most of my effort is about Pressure Canning. Here is a typical application.

http://www.durgan.org/URL/?HYPCT 3 September 2014 Tomato Juice
Thirty pounds of tomatoes were processed into eleven liters of tomato juice. The jars were pressure canned at 15 PSI for 15 minutes for preservation. The only addition to the pot was one liter of water to facilitate cooking. Annotated pictures depict the process.
