This was dug from a marsh, along side the road, covered with the plants in flower about ten years ago. It blooms in early Spring, dies completely back, and reappears again the next year

I am seeing marigolds looking like this, for the first time. I have a few plants that look different.

Durgans - those little flowers are so pretty! They look very cheerful:)
Grouie - it's a lovely flower, its petals look like origami!

Like the bright color, it would be nice to see some thing bright blooming in the early spring.

That is a beautiful marigold. I love marigolds, but unfortunately where I used to live they would always freeze on me. I am looking forward to trying them again, since I moved to a warmer climate. Do they tolerate the heat very well? Thanks.
