Hanging strawberries?

So I am out of space in the ground, but I want to try strawberries in my climate..so I am thinking of making one of those hanging plastic bottle gardens for Strawberries. Anyone ever try planting Strawberries in containers?

That will work! My sister bought two hanging strawberry plants for my mom on Mother's Day, and they have continued to produce strawberries, even now.

Well those look like a great way to use the space, and it certainly feels like a great little Mother's Day gift like @IcyBC has mentioned, although I have missed the boat on that one. Oh well, maybe next year. The simple truth is that the freshly grown produce tastes so much better and you get that added benefit of knowing that you have done the work yourself, to an extent.
