Hi Everyone,

After seeing the AvoSeedo everywhere on Facebook, I bought it and had great success with it. I got a 3-pack and all three pits already sprouted and got transferred into a pot. Now I know that the chances of actually getting fruit on the tree are low and I need to plant the tree close to another one. Is that correct and what are your experiences. Besides the fun my kids had with that little "avocado-boat" this was the first time that my pit didn't get moldy.

Avocados technically are self pollinating, that is they can, but seldom do because the male flowers open up at a different time than the female flowers. So yes you must have another tree in the same vicinity. You can expect fruit from seed in about 7 years.
